I am starving myself, unintentionally!

It is very hard to write that,. Being weight obsessed for nearly a lifetime it brings me to tears.

I thought I was doing really well, yes I know that I work out multiple times a day but it makes me feel good. What I didn’t realize is that I’m working off all if not more calories than I’m eating. This explains my weight loss stall, my body has gone into starvation mode.

Being new to paying attention to calories, macros, etc. I didn’t consider the effects of the exercise I’ve incorporated, or the number of calories my body burns doing them.

The remedy? I have to seriously increase my caloric intake per day, by over a thousand calories. Again, being weight obsessed, this is not easy for me, but it’s a part of the positive changes I’m making in my life so I will do it.

If you have incorporated a work out routine as part of your Keto Journey, please learn from my mistake. Consider the amount of calories your body is burning versus what you are eating and make those adjustments properly.
